We consider that this use of your data is what you would reasonably expect, has minimal privacy impact and is justified from a commercial interests’ perspective.

Rights available to you based on lawful bases
Your right to be informed (see section 4.) under Articles 13 and 14 in the UKGDPR means that we provide you with the information above about your lawful basis for processing. This can also affect which rights are available to you. The table below shows your rights based on lawful basis:
Control of your preferences

Where is your data held?
How do we keep your data secure?
We take the security of your data very seriously from the outset. Our web address is HTTPS. (HyperText Transport Protocol Secure) This is the protocol used to access a secure Web server. We use https:// as the prefix to our Web address rather than the common http://, so that your session is managed by a security protocol and the transmission of data is encrypted to and from the Web server.
Secure certificates (SSL Certificates) are in place. These are small data files that digitally bind a cryptographic key to an organisation’s details. These allow secure connections from a web server to a browser. SSL is used to secure the transfer of your data to our server.
Our server is protected by a firewall. Log in details are securely shared internally between employees.
We are able to encrypt the data that is held in the database. If there are any security breaches, your data is encrypted and therefore secure.
We only store your data on server locations that are secure and UKGDPR (UK General Data Protection Regulation) and Data Protection Act 2018 (amended) compliant.
See section 8. for transfers of data.
We will not share your personal details with any third parties without your express permission.
8. Links to other websites
Our website contains links to other websites. This privacy policy only applies to this website so when you link to other websites, you should ensure that you read and agree to their own privacy policies and terms and conditions.
9. Transfers of data
Your personal data is held on a secure server in the UK provided by names.co.uk.
External offers
With all ‘link outs’ we only share an unique identifier (UID) which contains no personal data. You will be asked to enter into a new contract with the companies that you click through to.
We use a third party email platform to send out offers relevant to you, as a member, as part of our legitimate interests.
We have signed contracts in place with any processor to ensure that they will keep your data secure and that they comply with the rules and principles of the UKGDPR (UK General Data Protection Regulation) and Data Protection Act 2018. We restrict data sharing to the minimum required to carry out the necessary processing.
Internal offers
We may include a limited number of internal offers where we may need to ask you for further personal data to enable us to API this to a client. In this case, you will be asked for your consent for us to do this and be rewarded in the same way as for external offers.
Business transfer
In the event of YourCashback being sold, transferred, merged, declared bankrupt or otherwise changes its business status, we will notify you that we intend to transfer your personal data to a new owner or entity so that the service can continue to be provided to you.
Your personal data will, under the terms of this Privacy Policy, then continue to be used for the purposes for which is was supplied by you.
Before this transfer takes place, you will have the opportunity to opt out and request the deletion of all of your data.
YourCashback is offered to UK residents over 16 years old only.
YourCashback does not offer its services to children under the age of 16 due to the requirement for members to have a bank account to receive eligible payments.
